To go further and discover even more of our beautiful region, you will be able to combine your tours with ferry and train rides. To cross over the Danube you can take a ferry are available in Spitz, Weissenkirchen & Dürnstein, or one of the bridges in Grein, Persenbeug, Pöchlarn, Melk and Krems.
Road bike tours
Reinsberg-Scheibbs-Pöchlarn:
93 km, 1330 hmEasy and mostly flat streets with only 3 ascents through the „Mostviertel“. Along the way you will discover a lot of farmhouses typical for the region.
Bärnkopf-Yspertal:
Off the beaten track and traffic, but still on very good asphalt roads, you will start with a beautiful ascent with breathtaking views of the Danube. The two most difficult ascents have around 8-9% incline. You will finish with a long descent through the Yspertal, mostly covered in the shade.
Wachautour-SN: 118 km, 2165 hm
Easy and good roads, passing the impressive Abbey in Melk, first ascent to the place of pilgrimage Maria Langegg. Descent to Krems followed by a second ascent through the vineyards of the Wachau region with breath-taking views of the region. After the third, most challenging ascent with up to 14% incline, you will finish with a rewarding descent through Maria Laach into the Danube Valley.
